How it works

How Siling' Works

A new user should understand this page in under two minutes. Seven steps, from one notification to one explained pattern.

Step 1: Receive financial notification. Your bank or mobile money provider sends the SMS or app alert it already sends today, confirming a payment, deposit, withdrawal, or transfer.
Step 2: Siling' identifies the transaction. With your permission, Siling' recognizes that message as a financial transaction and reads the amount, merchant or counterparty, and timestamp from it. Nothing else in that message is used.
Step 3: Ledger updated. The transaction is added to your Ledger, the single running record of everything that has moved through your Supported Institutions.
Step 4: Budget updated. If the transaction falls into a category you have a plan for, your Budget reflects it immediately.
Step 5: Goals updated. If the transaction is a contribution toward a goal, your Goals progress reflects it.
Step 6: Patterns updated. Siling' looks at the shape of your transactions over time so it can recognize things like your income pattern or a category trending over plan.
Step 7: AI Coach explains. When you ask a question, AI Coach answers using the ledger, budget, goals, and patterns built in the steps above, citing exactly which transactions its answer is based on.

What this means in practice

Every screen in Siling' is a different view onto the same seven-step pipeline, not a separate system with its own copy of your data. That is why a correction you make in one place is reflected everywhere else immediately.
